2007 Aprilia RSV 1200R

The new Aprilia model RSV 1200R using a newly V-twin engine is preparing to face his biggest rival announced Ducati 1088R. They developed the V-twin engine purely for road use and will not get this engine into competitions. They are working on a V4 new engine for racing.



Looks like this new 1200 engine will be used also by Futura and Caponord models which Aprilia tries to get them back to life, also maybe the owner Piaggio could use this engine to other brands and models. Torque seems to be the main thing about this engine, RSV will get the most powerful version and the others will get more user friendly version of it.
